The Child Death Helpline aims to provide a quality freephone service to anyone affected by the death of a child of any age, under any circumstance and however long ago. Callers to the helpline might be parents, grandparents, siblings, other family members, friends or involved professionals. We provide support not only at times of crisis but also for ongoing needs of callers over their lifetime. The helpline is staffed by volunteers. They are all bereaved parents who are trained and supported by professional staff. The helpline provides opportunity to talk in confidence to someone who has also experienced the death of a child.
